Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of our fintech products. This role is ideal for someone with strong product management experience who is eager to drive innovation in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will work closely with engineering, design, compliance, and marketing teams to shape product strategies and enhance our payment solutions.
This position will start as a contractor role, with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and alignment with Gold Pomelo’s long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the product roadmap in alignment with Gold Pomelo’s vision and business objectives.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
Lead collaboration with engineering and design teams to develop, launch, and iterate on products.
Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders to ensure user-centric product development.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvements.
Oversee product launches, working with marketing and operations teams to maximize adoption and engagement.
Stay updated on fintech trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Enhance UI/UX across all Gold Pomelo products to deliver seamless user experiences.
Get hands-on with designing UI/UX when necessary to improve product interfaces.
Mentor and guide junior product managers within the team.
Requirements
Junior PM (1-3 years), welcome graduates, ideally have uiux design capabilities.
Understanding of digital banks / financial technology is a plus
Deep understanding of payment systems, digital wallets, cross-border transactions, or card issuing.
Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies in an agile environment.
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.
Expertise in UI/UX principles and working closely with design teams.
Hands-on experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma and Adobe Photoshop.
Excellent communication skills to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience with compliance and regulatory frameworks in financial services.
Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is preferred to facilitate communication with key stakeholders.
